Powerful NRF lineup features mobile printers with first-in-class technologies to help improve store operations, efficiency and workflow

BROOMFIELD, Colo.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Brother Mobile Solutions, Inc. (BMS) a wholly-owned subsidiary of Brother International Corporation and premier provider of mobile and desktop printing solutions, plans to showcase its portfolio of innovative mobile and desktop printers for retailers at the NRF 2015 Expo, January 11-13, at the Javits Convention Center in New York City.

The annual event, also known as “Retail’s BIG Show,” is sponsored by the National Retail Federation and focuses on how retailers can engage customers across all channels to boost sales, customer loyalty and retention.

Mobile & Customer Experience: A New Era in Retail

David Crist, Brother Mobile Solution’s VP of Sales and Marketing, notes: “This new era of retail shopping is all about mobility and customer engagement. Today’s shoppers have an enormous range of choices as to where, when and how they shop. Using digital and mobile technologies to make their in-store experience more convenient, personal and memorable can keep shoppers coming back. Customer engagement is one of the key principles we keep in mind in developing new products for retailers.”

At Booth #2976, Brother Mobile Solutions will showcase its new 3-inch RuggedJet™ mobile label and receipt printer series along with the full suite of printing solutions designed for use virtually anywhere in the retail environment.

The new RuggedJet™ 3 leverages over 60 years of Brother product expertise in the home office, small office and consumer print industries to bring the mobile worker a reliable, feature rich experience. Engineered ground-up to be extremely simple and intuitive to use – the RJ-3150 helps eliminate the learning curve for non-technical store associates – and with ZPL® II, CPCL, and popular operating system compatibility, it can be a faster, more affordable drop-in replacement for the label and receipt printers many retailers are upgrading.

The RJ-3150 model features the first-in-class color LCD display with simple, interactive menus. Both models in the series, the RJ-3050 and the RJ-3150, offer dual wireless connectivity via Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® for reliable operational mobility. The series is compatible with Windows®, iOS®, Android™, Windows Mobile laptops, tablets and smartphones.

Brother Mobile Solutions product managers and executives will be available throughout the show, along with leadership from business partners, Retail Pro International (Booth #1503) and Panasonic (Booth #1633), to discuss new technology solutions spanning software, hardware and peripherals that support IT for an enhanced customer experience.

Ravi Panjwani, Brother Mobile VP Marketing and Product Management, adds: “One feature of our RJ-3150 model that retailers find especially appealing is the large, full-color graphical LCD display with intuitive, interactive menus that simplify printing of 1-inch to 3-inch wide POS receipts, shelf edge labels, promotional coupons and more. With its affordability and versatility, the RJ-3 offers an all-in-one mobile printing solution to meet retailers’ needs.”
