A look back at 2019 (and a look toward 2020) from Brother Mobile Solutions

Tis the season to be jolly. So, as 2019 comes to a close, we’re dreaming of all the things that made this year a great one. The challenges, the areas of growth, and all the ways our amazing partners and end users showed their continued support for Brother Mobile Solutions.

Here’s a shortlist of our yuletide and year-end areas of celebration. (Watch our holly, jolly 2019 recap to see all 12!)

A Canadian expansion, eh?

Our full suite of BMS products and solutions made their debut in a vibrant B2B economy “Up North” – one that up to this point didn’t have direct access to Brother Mobile Solutions’ full options, services, and support. We are very excited about how many North American end-users, channel partners, and strategic alliances can now take full advantage of this seamless integration.

4 new vertical markets

A portfolio of new products primed us to increase our solutions for industries like warehouse, manufacturing, cannabis, and voting. Each of these new markets has already stretched and challenged us to meet an entirely new and unique set of customer needs, and we look forward to getting deeper into each of these markets in 2020.

5 new employees… the more the merrier!

To keep ahead of customer needs and support continued growth in 2019, our team added new roles in product management, engineering, marketing, and sales. Each “rookie” brings outstanding know-how from tech-related industries, a wide range of customer and partner experiences, and most of all, a strong desire to innovate and grow along with our customers.

6 new products (and counting!)

From a new lineup of portable desktop printers to thermal transfer portable solutions, we made it a point in 2019 to provide more offerings that meet the needs of existing and new customers. But we’re just getting started! Many more new and value-added products and solutions are on the docket for 2020.

82 new partners for strength in numbers

Expanding our partnerships in various verticals and into territories like Canada helps us give end users the options they need – all from their preferred resellers and distributors. Without our channel partners, we would simply not be able to effectively reach customers, construct market-winning solutions, and create value that makes sense for our shared customers. Thank you!

95 custom projects

No two businesses or applications are exactly alike, which is why we continue to prioritize and provide customizations for our customers – from software integrations to customized settings and more. When so many of our customers operate daily in very unique environments, their technology must adapt. We’re excited for more ways to help customers achieve exactly the printing and labeling solutions they need in 2020!
